Relax in your peaceful, private retreat, wander secret gardens or gather for fun, games and laughter. Our on-site catering service also offers delicious tailored breakfast, lunch and dinner options for your guests.

The Cottage

With sweeping views of Terara House and local dairy farms, The Cottage is the perfect hideaway for small groups of up to six guests.

The Cottage is spread across two spacious floors, tastefully decorated with a seamless blend of country antiques and modern luxury. Upstairs you’ll find a stunningly-appointed master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom features two king single and two single beds.

A vast open-plan living space beckons on the ground floor, complete with a large antique school table for ten. Curl up with a book or movie by the roaring log fire, stretched out on the white leather lounge or nestled into a comfortable armchair. You’ll also find a modern bathroom, and a well-appointed kitchenette with a cooktop, microwave, electric kettle and toaster.

Just outside, you’ll find your private outdoor space equipped with a barbeque, pizza oven and incredible rural views, along with a dedicated guest parking space.

The Nest

Designed especially for couples, The Nest is an intimate retreat for two to enjoy luxury and privacy amid our beautiful rose gardens. Perfect for the bride and groom.

The studio features a cozy queen-sized bed adjoined by a modern ensuite bathroom. We provide everything you need so you can just snuggle in and relax, including tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridge, air conditioning, TV and DVD player.

On-Site Glamping

Figbird Cottage’s grounds are perfect for small group glamping setups – a great addition to your relaxed wedding or event.
